A Tsunami Warning is in effect for coastal Oregon and the coast of Northern California, including the San Francisco Bay after a magnitude 7.0 earthquake occurred just off the coast of Northern California. If you live or are located anywhere from Davenport, California [10 miles north of Santa Cruz] to the Douglas/Lane, Oregon line [10 miles southwest of Florence], move inland immediately. A tsunami with significant inundation is possible or is already occurring. Tsunamis are a series of dangerous waves that can occur for hours after the initial wave and the first wave may not be the largest.

This is a developing, breaking situation. Keep checking back for updates.
