Ski season kicks off in the Southeast, first resort opens for 24-25 season

The 2024-25 ski season is officially underway at Sugar Mountain Resort [North Carolina]. Sugar Mountain Resort is the first resort to open in the Southeast.

To kick off the opening day, the mountain and resort picked up a fresh half a foot of fresh, natural snow overnight into Friday morning.
